New construction of the Medical Research Center (MedForCe) at the UKM Münster / Germany

Münster University Hospital (UKM) is one of the largest hospitals in Germany, treating around 58,000 inpatients and 475,500 outpatients every year.

As part of a medical modernization program financed by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the new Medical Research Center (MedForCe) is being built on the site.

The HT Group is building the BSL-2 and BSL-3 laboratory areas, including the animal facilities.

In addition to the evaluated high-density, modular room solutions for the laboratories and animal housing, the scope of supply and services includes the complete system solution for the static containment, which also includes the gas-tight ducts and the HEPA filter housings. The BSL-S2/BSL-3 areas, as well as the associated animal housing, have a total floor area of approx. 530 m² including airlocks, anteroom, access corridor and technical corridor. The filters are fully welded filter housings with integrated scanner devices in accordance with ISO 14644-3 B.7, type BiBo-hightec, manufactured by HT Group,.

The installation work on the construction site has already begun and should be completed by the end of this year.
