Delirium prevention
Especially when staying in an intensive care unit, many patients suffer from delirium – an acute disturbance of cerebral function that manifests itself as a state of confusion in the patient. Today, the phenomenon of delirium is often traditionally treated with medication, but can be avoided or reduced with a preventive approach. This includes all influencing factors aimed at rapid mental and physical mobilisation, which provide the patient with orientation and security and, above all, sufficiently support the sleep rhythm.
To ensure that such measures can be implemented in a structurally appropriate manner, HT offers a range of components such as healing light systems, ceiling-mounted patient hoists and furniture concepts.
