By receiving the accreditation of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the laboratory in Doha was qualified for approval of doping analyzes. In Doha, capital of Qatar, the 35th location for an officially recognized WADA anti-doping laboratory is established. The state of Qatar is an important location in the world of sport, also before hosting the 2022 football World Cup. The basic requirement for such a position is an accredited anti-doping laboratory.
