AWO Pflegeheim – Wassertrüdingen, Germany

The house offers 68 beds for nursing residents of care levels 2 to 5 in modern apartments, a protective department, comprehensive psychosocial care, a kitchen for healthy catering for residents and a variety of employment and leisure options. The integrative care concept envisages that the residents do not live together in homogeneous groups according to their illnesses or disabilities, but live distributed across all wards and are looked after together. The goal of this is to requicken a setting, in which everyone brings their strengths and weaknesses into the community.
