New Jahra Hospital, Kuwait, Al Jahra

New Jahra Hospital is a medical complex located 30 kilometres west of Kuwait City, in Al Jahra. It consists of the main hospital building, the dental clinic, the regional health administration building, the central utility plant and two car park buildings.

The major departments with their 1903 beds include: accident and emergency area with a helipad on the roof and separate  adult and paediatric treatment areas; over 20 outpatient clinics; outpatient procedures including endoscopy, pulmonary and cardiology; radiology and nuclear medicine; same day medical observation unit; a modern surgical suite with 20 ORs including 2 hybrid rooms; a women’s centre including women’s inpatient beds including adult, paediatric and women’s centre beds as well as 12 unique ICU bed units.

The HT Group equipped the care area with patient rooms and adjoining patient bathrooms with wall systems, integrated patient lifts for transporting and mobilizing patients, as well as functional furniture.
