Statens Serum Institut (SSI), Denmark, Copenhagen

A number of diseases can be transmitted between humans and animals, for example the Corona-mink-variant in Denmark. It is therefore important to be able to work across the entire veterinary and human area with the new, ultra-modern veterinary laboratory of the SSI.

The construction of the new BSL-3 laboratories was realized in the proven modular system solution. The HT Group has designed, delivered and installed all wall and ceiling systems, door systems and transfer systems for operating personnel and material, such as showers, material transfer boxes and as well the material sluices for decontamination by gassing. In order to ensure the high requirements of the Canadian standard even in long-term operation, all media penetrations, such as ventilation, cabling, piping and wastewater, were also included in the scope of the HT Group.
