Active material sluices

Active sluices operate independently via built-in fans and are not connected to an on-site ventilation system. The independent, controlled ventilation of the sluice chamber ensures safe material transfer under the most stringent cleanroom requirements.

As standard, the sluices are equipped with a supply air filter, through which filtered air is introduced into the interior. The filter can be conveniently replaced from inside the sluice.

An integrated display allows for easy adjustment of relevant operating parameters, such as the material purge time before the opposite door is released or the pressure inside the sluice chamber. In addition, status and alarm messages are clearly displayed, for example, in the event of excessively long door opening times or increasing filter contamination.

The doors are interlocked so that only one door can be open at a time. This reliably prevents uncontrolled air exchange. The sluice’s current operating status is clearly visible at all times via indicator lights on both sides.

Certified to ISO Class 5 / GMP Cleanroom Class A in accordance with ISO 14644-1.
