VHP® SEMINAR IN DRESDEN

With more than 60 participants, the demand for decontamination continued to be very high. With relevant expertise, the HT Group was represented with a complex technical presentation. Dipl. Ing. Claus Schweinheim, managing director of HT Lab Tec GmbH, a company of the HT Group, spoke about the validation of material locks in BSL-3 laboratories.   

In the introduction, he presented the normative background to BSL-3 laboratories, and then presented details on the construction of a complete containment and various transfer solutions for people and material on the basis of projects. Another topic was the relation between a dynamic and a static containment and the various international tightness requirements for BSL-3 laboratories.

The focus of the presentation was the successful cycle development and subsequent validation of a material transfer box with an integrated VHP© generator. The certification by TÜV Süd was also presented.  

During the two-day seminar, very intensive discussions on the topic were held with the participants. "We are pleased to present the broad expertise of the HT Group for BSL-3/4 laboratories as part of the excellent seminars of the Steris," said Claus Schweinheim at the end of the event.
