Klinikum Neumarkt is a specialist hospital with 530 beds in 17 specialist departments and a teaching hospital of Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
With more than 2,000 employees in the entire organization, more than 26,000 inpatients and 48,000 outpatients are treated annually.

In order to expand the operating room capacities, the new operating room wing was planned by Distler Architekten und Ingenieure GmbH and the interior design of the operating room area was realized by HT Group.

During the transition phase during ongoing operations, operations were outsourced to a module building of the HT Group that had been converted into an OR.
