Effectively implement the planning, construction and operation of laboratories

This year, too, the demand for laboratory construction seminar was very high, with decision-makers from various public institutions following the two-day seminar with great interest. The HT Group, represented by Dipl.-Ing. Claus Schweinheim, Managing Director of HT Lab Tec GmbH, was part of the competent team of speakers.

In the lecture "Construction of a laboratory as a modular building with a high degree of prefabrication", he presented the construction of the new BSL-2 laboratory at the Technical University of Munich. This complete construction service was created under great time pressure in order to realize a laboratory building for PCR analyses. Precast concrete modules were used here for the first time, the interior fittings had already been carried out in the factory. At the end, other construction projects of the HT Group were presented, that have a similar focus.          

The focus of the second lecture was the "Fast-Track realization of a turnkey stem cell laboratory in an existing building". The new GMP laboratory at the Berger University Hospital was presented together with Steffen Schmidt, project manager at Neuberger building automation.

During the two-day seminar, very intensive discussions on the topics could be held with the participants. “The scheduling problems with research buildings certainly have a variety of causes. The aim of an HT Group is to be a reliable partner for our public partner, so that construction projects can be accelerated,” said Claus Schweinheim at the end of the event.
