Stavanger University Hospital – Planners inspect the successfully completed project shortly before commissioning.

New Stavanger University Hospital

The HT Group, a leading provider of modular interior fittings for hospitals and research facilities, played a key role in the construction of the new Stavanger University Hospital (Nye SUS) in Norway.

19 operating rooms, 5 intervention operating rooms, 544 patient bathrooms including bedpan washers, over 300 special doors and material locks for the GMP and safety laboratories were realized in prefabricated system construction.

HT Group's contribution was the highly installed hygiene areas

In order to achieve the planned project completion date and the highest quality standards, the focus was on prefabrication and modularity in almost all areas.  In close cooperation with the planners, HT Group's enabled efficient and high-quality implementation of the overall project, which was implemented entirely in BIM / Lean from the outset.

Architectural concept

The design of the hospital was developed by AART Architects and Nordic Office of Architecture. The concept is based on a garden city structure that creates a close connection between urban space and nature. The buildings are arranged in such a way that they offer both functional efficiency and a pleasant atmosphere for patients and staff.
