John Flynn Private Hospital

Near to the Gold Coast and directly located on the shores of the ocean, the John Flynn Private Hospital covers a large catchment area with its around 340 beds. In 2012 the first EndoAlpha OR in Australia was built there in cooperation with Olympus. The latest camera and communications systems permit optimal video transmission, in particular for teaching purposes.

AZ Sint-Jan Hospital

The operating rooms of the AZ Sint-Jan Hospital in Bruges were modernised in several stages. In 2012 HT renovated for the first time three glass and stainless steel operating rooms with large connecting doors between the individual rooms. The adjoining corridors were also re-designed.

Germany, Augsburg

Most modern operating rooms in the heart of Bavaria

Future-oriented hospital building was very important at the realisation of the glass ORs for the Klinikum Augsburg by HT Labor + Hospitaltechnik. The order amount was about 3 m euros, 18 operation rooms were newly constructed and a total of 4700 m² of material installed by HT in two construction stages over a three-year period.

Sir Hurkisondas Nurrotumdas Hospital & Research Centre

By the new construction of the Sir Hurkisondas Hospitals in Mumbai, this hospital is one of the most modern ones in the whole of Mumbai. Thanks to its long tradition it is also one of the most prestigious. The new construction replaced a traditional building to adapt the building to state-of-the-art technology.

Kuwait

Sabah al Ahmad Urology Center

The special kidney-shaped set-up of the clinic is mirrored in its urological treatment therapies. Due to its round form, larger external surface areas could be assigned to patient rooms and operating rooms, which resulted in more light for them. The ocean view is certainly a nice side effect.

Four new state hospital were commissioned in 2011 in Venezuela, all four as turnkey solutions.

The special element in these projects was that all four hospitals should have the same construction. This naturally simplifies the planning process and thus the project duration.

National Center of Oncology

As the national oncology centre in Baku it has grown over the years and was modernised. With around 650 beds it naturally requires a modern operation and intensive care area which was re-equipped by HT in the course of recent years until 2016.

Cliniques Universitaires Saint

The university hospital in the heart of the city of Brussels will soon have been in operation for 40 years. The 24 operating rooms is being renovated in three construction stages. HT was able to undertake the second construction stage and within this renovated 6 operating rooms in metal, all adjoining rooms and corridors the doctors' scrub facilities.

St.-Johannes-Hospital

The St.-Johannes-Hospital is a significant one within the Ruhr region with 10 operating rooms. In 2012 the OR area was completely renovated by HT in 3 construction stages. A special challenge during this was to retain normal operations in the other two sections.

Austria, Feldkirch

Landeskrankenhaus Feldkirch

As part of the new project for the OR center in Feldkirch, Austria, HT Group is building 12 new operating rooms. The operating rooms are designed according to the latest standards and equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology. Special features are the large-area glass wall panels, which offer the best hygienic properties according to their microscopically flat surfaces. Flush integration of the wall installations, fixed glazing of the window fronts, equipped with radiation protection as well as indirect lighting create an architecturally demanding overall picture.

Qatar, Doha

Hamad Medical City

The medical complex, Hamad Medical City, includes a gynaecological clinic, a centre for outpatient and minimally invasive surgery and one for physical and rehabilitative medicine as well as a research centre for medical research with an integrated biobank.

HT Group constructed a total of 21 operations rooms with adjoining anterooms, corridors and doctors' scrub facilities, all using glass.

Building Information Modelling provides new approaches for the planning and realisation of both construction projects and the operation of buildings.
