HT GROUP CONVINCED AT THE IHEEM SYMPOSIUM // HONG KONG // 10. NOVEMBER 2017

EVENT IN REVIEW

At this year's symposium of the INSTITUTE FOR HEALTHCARE ENGINEERING AND ESTATE MANAGEMENT (IHEEM) in Hong Kong on November 10, 2017, the focus was on modular room solutions for hospitals. As the leading company in this field, HT Group was represented by 3 expert speakers at the conference.

In his presentation about operating theaters Thomas Fritsch, CEO HT Group, highlighted the differences between modular solutions and a conventional construction. The comparison included on the one hand technical, hygienic and environmentally relevant aspects and on the other hand a cost comparison, taking into account the investment costs, the construction time, required costs for interface clarifications, retrofit measures, and maintenance.

Subsequently, Andreas Hammerbacher, product manager of HT Health Tec GmbH, presented new development of HT for intensive care units and sanitary solutions for hospitals.

Most recently, Claus Schweinheim, Managing Director of HT Lab Tec GmbH, presented modular solutions for critical rooms in laboratories. He explained the realization of a stem cell laboratory on the basis of a case study of an ongoing project for a hospital in Kuwait.

The symposium was completely sold out with over 150 participants and reached the highest number of participants in an IHEEM conference so far. HT started its activities in Hong Kong in 2017 and expects first orders for modular room solutions already this year.
